“ Kanpachi Sushi has a rating of 4.9 in Yelp. Let's go! Located on a corner, the smallish interior is modern with dark tiled floor and dark accents of wood. Ordered was the lunch Sashimi and a lunch Sushi Sashimi Combination. Miso soup and a side salad are included for each entree. The soup and salad were good. The fish is fresh. The sashimi pieces were firm, odorless and neutral in taste. Service was friendly, prompt and attentive. At the price point and the area....Kanpachi Sushi wear that 4.9 LOUD & PROUD!!! Notes: * Street parking, no parking lot. * Gender neutral restroom. * Bar and table seating available. ”
“ Kanpachi Sushi lives up to the hype! It's located in a cute little building with a large mural. I came here for lunch and they had great lunch specials -- 3 rolls for $16. The fish was fresh and delicious. Seem to have a lot of regulars here. Staff was friendly and attentive. Highly recommend! ”

“ If you know me, you know my all time favorite food is sushi. I stopped into this restaurant with my friend on Saturday night after an evening spent shopping at menlo mall. I ran to Yelp and searched sushi near me and my fellow yelpers let me know (based on reviews) this was THE best spot in the area. A whopping 4.9 stars that was definitely well deserved! The fish in the sushi and sashimi was extremely fresh. The spicy salmon hand roll was one of my favorites, I even save a bite to end my meal with. The kani salad was very flavorful but didn't have too much kani in it it had a lot of cucumber, which is fine normally but not for $8 a plate. The maple roll was absolutely amazing!!! Of the two special rolls we got that one was my favorite. I'd never had a roll with fried scallops in it before and it's something I will be looking for at every sushi restaurant moving forward. The miso soup wasn't good, but it came with our sashimi dinner so I drank it anyways. I noticed after we had paid already that the prices on our receipt did not match the prices in the menu, we were charge a couple dollars more for the special rolls and sashimi deluxe, if I had noticed while there I would have brought attention to it but it was too late at that point. The waitress did cut up some fresh fruit for my 5month baby to eat though which was very nice of her. The restaurant is a cute small stand alone building with plenty of seating. The AC blasting was a great relief to the heat wave we were experiencing over the weekend. Overall a great experience! If you're in the area and looking for a satisfying sushi dinner be sure to stop in here you won't be disappointed. ”
“ We may have just found the best quality sushi in Middlesex County. The American take on sushi is normally fried, stacked and sauced. And oftentimes, most places fail to focus on the quality of the seafood itself. It's safe to say Kanpachi does the cuisine some justice. You can taste the quality in every plate, and the raw fish itself is the main event. Having this level of umami really does make a difference. This sets the bar high for our family going forward! ”
“ Update - Mother's Day Dinner May 14, 2023 We celebrated Mother's Day here with friends and family dinner. We ordered grills rolls, pepper tuna, sashimi de luxe and soft shell crab. All our orders are freshly made and delicious. Serving staff is attentive and helpful. ”
